Ever since I can remember, I've had a pen, pencil, or crayon in my hand. This early love of drawing solidified into a desire to become a cartoonist as I grew older. I used to sit for hours with Calvin and Hobbes books spread open all around me, trying to replicate the same mastery and draftsmanship as my hero, Bill Waterson.
As I learned through careful study (and plenty of trial and error) about the nature of composition, pacing, and story-telling, I naturally grew curious about film and animation production. This curiosity bloomed into full-fledged passion and prompted my earning a degree from the University of Montana for Digital Film Production. While in college, I also developed a love for Photoshop, Illustrator and all things Adobe which opened up to me the world of Graphic Design.
After graduating, I freelanced as a graphic designer, illustrator, animator, photographer, and videographer for businesses, entrepreneurs, bands, podcasters, comedians, wedding couples, and pretty much anyone who would pay me to create art for them. This work, while fulfilling, comes in spurts and sputters and so I've always kept a day job of some sort in order to keep the lights on, so to speak. I can't begin to express how ready I am to give up the day job and transition into being an artist full time. If you like what you see here, reach out to me. I'd love to make your next idea a reality. Need an animated logo? How about a music video? Poster or an upcoming event? A logo for your new business? An illustration of your beloved pet? A mash-up of your favorite pop culture properties? If you can think it, I can make it. But don't just take my word for it. Be sure to swing by the GALLERY page to check out my art. Then head over to the CONTACT page to shoot me a line. Thanks for stopping by. Talk to you soon.
