Ever since I can remember, I've had a pen, pencil, or crayon in my hand. Some of my earliest memories involve me sitting at the kitchen table with my dad, trying to recreate the VHS cover of An American Tale, Fantasia or some such animated classic with my Crayola crayons on lined notebook paper. I've also, ever since I can remember, been in love with cartoons (both in the print and animated varieties). I love it all; everything from the Disney classics to Calvin and Hobbes.

In case you missed the giant logo at the top of the page, my name is Josh Devenere, a freelance artist (and aspiring cartoonist) in the Seattle, WA area. When I'm not drawing, I'm watching cartoons, enjoying the beautiful Washington sights with my dog, Olive, or doing a deep-dive on some random topic on the internet. But I'll be honest: I'm generally drawing. It's what I do. While I've pursued other creative outlets including (but not limited to) music, woodworking, writing, etc., drawing has always been my first love. It's my most natural form of expression. It's what I've always wanted to do professionally when I grow up (I'm in my late 30's, but we'll skip over that).
As such, I really enjoy using my creative skills to bring people's ideas to life. I'd love to make your next idea a reality. Need an album cover? Poster or an upcoming event? A logo for your new business? An illustration of your beloved pet? A mash-up of your favorite pop culture properties? If you can think it, I can make it. Let's make it happ'n, Capt'n!
